The location was stunning - right by central Ireland, the Slieve Bloom mountains near Birr town, and a working farm with country views...

the room was not only comfy, but welcoming too, and had an electric kettle, central heating, and an iron/ironing board. the breakfast offered was delicious with fresh baked scones, bespoke veggie options plus fruit.

I recently had a fantastic stay at this hotel. the location was perfect for me as I was exploring various parts of Ireland and this hotel was in a lovely rural position, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel very welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice little extra touches that added to my overall experience. And let's not forget the breakfast! It was absolutely delightful, with a wide variety of options to choose from, including a delicious full Irish breakfast. I can honestly say it was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was great.

The Ring Farmhouse in Birr was spotless with magnificent views. The location is very special for weddings. The double room I stayed in was spotless and well-equipped. It was a comfortable stay for a Christening in town.

Had a great stay for one night. Unbeatable and comfortable location in view of the Slieve Bloom mountains near Birr town, met every demand. What's more, it was a short walk to quiet central Ireland, Birr Castle, and a working farm.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warm welcome and EXCELLENT service. The choice of rooms was mind-blowing, and everything worked perfectly. The hosts provided outstanding advice on local restaurants, which turned out to be jaw-droppingly accurate. Breakfast was a delightful experience with a wide selection of cereals, fruit, and an array of cooked options. The highlight of our stay was the hosts' incredible knowledge of local history, helping us connect with our ancestry and even arranging a meeting with distant relatives! The whole experience was super, and we can't wait to return in the future.

The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for a short break, such as tea/coffee facilities and a hairdryer. The peaceful surroundings and adorable rabbits leading up to the driveway added to the charm of the place. We were also grateful for the warm hospitality of our host, Carmel, who made us feel welcome and comfortable. Ring Farmhouse is definitely a great find, offering exceptional value for money and quality in terms of decor, bed linens, and breakfast ingredients.

Spent Christmas at a charming countryside guesthouse. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. Enjoyed the fresh milk and tea facilities. The location was remote but just a short drive from town and it overlooked breath-taking mountains. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and exploring the surrounding nature trails.

The bathroom wasn't en-suite but was nearby. It was a bit chilly in the morning and we would have appreciated a warmer room temperature.

What a wonderful B&B I stayed at during my city trip. The complimentary breakfast and tea were out of this world. Plus, the location was perfect for exploring nature and the nearby town. I also loved being able to see the surrounding countryside from my room window.

I loved staying at this hotel next to a working farm with great country views. The staff was very helpful, and they gave me excellent meal recommendations nearby. Also, the breakfast was amazing - freshly baked bread and scones, along with a wide range of fruit and yogurt options. Lastly, the cleanliness of this hotel was exceptional, and the parking was super convenient - I didn't have to worry about anything!
